The Adventurer
An Adventurer's soul is at peace in the wilderness of Rubi-Ka, studying the flora and fauna of the desert landscape and learning their ways, adapting and even transforming into powerful beasts and creatures, to help even the odds of any situation. At one with the nature of Rubi-Ka's hostile desert terrain the Adventurer is an expert at dual-wielding swords or pistols, and with potent healing and shielding powers at the ready, the Adventurer is a jack-of-all-trades profession perfect for exploring the world of Rubi-Ka... or cracking open a few heads.
The Agent
Once you've seen the Agent? It's already too late. Lurking in the edges of shadows and society, the Agent is a darkened shadow of death on the battlefield, appearing from the edge of sight to deliver deadly strikes with their sniper rifle only to disappear once more, leaving behind nothing but the corpse of their target. With the unique ability to go undercover as any other profession on Rubi-Ka, combined with a natural proficiency with powerful root, snare, and damage-over-time attacks, the Agent's versatility leaves them prepared for almost any scenario - Particularly ones that involve leaving behind a trail of dead bodies.
The Bureaucrat
The Bureaucrat brings order to the chaos. They are more than just simple pencil pushers, known for their fierce devotion to regulation, and making absolutely certain that their opponents know violations will be punished to the full extent of the law. With their trusty robotic secretary at their side and hand-crafted suit freshly pressed, the Bureaucrat helps direct the flow of combat with powerful debuffs, controlling any crowd with a well-crafted speech before breaking their hearts (literally) with deadly nanobot attacks. When you want to charm the masses and need an awesome cup of coffee to go with it? Look no further than the Bureaucrat.
The Doctor
Though most doctors swear to "do no harm", that rule definitely doesn't apply to the Rubi-Kan version of this ancient medical profession. The Doctor is the last word in healing, with the ultimate in vitality restoring & enhancing abilities designed to turn nearly anyone from the brink of death with only a single wave of their hands. Don't let that fool you, though - Backed up by devastating viral attacks to deal deadly damage-over-time to their opponents and intense debuffs designed to weaken and slow the target, the Doctor can either be an Angel of Mercy... or an Angel of Death.
The Enforcer
Big. Beefy. Bringing the pain. The Enforcer is a giant walking, talking slab of meat who isn't afraid to speak quite loudly while brandishing a gigantic stick. With a love of all things smashy and the strength to back it up, the Enforcer is front-line melee fighter with a stable of insults just waiting to make their opponents good and angry. A master of rage and fury, the Enforcer knows how to goad the enemy into attacking, screaming obscenities and unleashing powerful attacks to both draw attention and dole out hurt. When you absolutely, positively have to bludgeon every single person in the room? Accept no substitutes.
The Engineer
With a love for robotics and a bevy of tools to fit near any job, the Engineer specializes in mechanized mayhem. A master of crafting and controlling mechanical constructs, the Engineer prefers to let their creations do the fighting for them. But make no mistake - The Engineer has no problems getting right in the thick of things, with robust shields and devastating weaponry hand-crafted to put a damper on anybody's day. And when things get really hairy? The Engineer can combine the strength of their robotic pets with their own, creating powerful exoskeleton suits designed for maximum harm. With serious firepower and even more serious robots, the Engineer is definitely not just another tinkerer; they're a fully-automated whirlwind of destruction.
The Fixer
Fast, agile and sly, the Fixer is always your inside man. No job too dirty, the Fixer excels at breaking and entering, hacking, and all things related to transportation - When the job's gone wrong and you have to get outta dodge in a hurry? Look no further than your local Fixer. If swiftness alone won't cut it, though, the Fixer brings plenty of power to the fight, with a natural affinity for healing nanoscripts as well as powerful snare and root programs - Combined with ultimate speed and an affinity for akimbo machine guns? The Fixer is one very hard target.
The Keeper
A stalwart, shining champion on the battlefield, the melee-based Keeper is a relieving sight to their allies and a portent of doom for their opponents. With a bevy of powerful aura-based abilities the Keeper is capable of both healing and harming, their natural ties to the energies of Rubi-Ka and the Shadowlands allowing them to strengthen, cleanse and motivate their allies while helping to direct the flow of combat and delivering devastating strikes to their foes. With sword in hand, armour abreast, and the enemy all around? You couldn't ask for a better guardian than the Keeper.
The Martial Artist
With a perfected blend of speed, serenity and grace, the Martial Artist is a living, breathing weapon on the battlefield, a whirling wind of fists, kicks and deadly know-how. Targeting their enemies with pinpoint precision, the Martial Artist always knows how to hit their opponents where it hurts the most, maximizing their strikes for powerful critical blows and devastating attacks. Combined with substantial healing capabilities enabling them to replenish themselves and team mates, the Martial Artist is capable of outweathering virtually any conditions, while being a perfected, furious storm of their own.
The Meta-Phycisist
Deeply tied to the mysterious and other-worldly nature of Notum, Meta-Physicists channel their natural emotions into pure, raw creation, giving life and shape to their rage in the form of several powerful pet servants and a bevy of mystical conjured weaponry. Striking with devastating nanobot attacks and crippling debuffs, the Meta-Physicist engages the target with their assortment of pets, eager to attack and confuse the enemy until the fight is won.
The Nano Technician
An undisputed master of aggressive nanobots, the Nano-Technician excels at sowing chaos with their robust assortment of damaging nano programs, ready to rain down destruction any time, any place. With their unique bonds to the flow of Notum permeating Rubi-Ka, the Nano-Technician is capable of directing intense surges of power through their bodies, using their advanced understanding of technology to block and absorb incoming attacks. With a wide assortment of powerful single-target and area-effect attacks, backed up by root and calm abilities for when things go wrong, the Nano-Technician is always ready and able to light the skies ablaze and make any fight explode with sheer power.
The Shade
In the absence of light hides the Shade, deadly blades and deadlier intent waiting in patience for the chance to strike. The Shade is a dexterous, efficient melee combatant who use their natural ties to Rubi-Ka and the Shadowlands to drain the essence from their opponents, leeching their life force for their own as they deliver devastating backstabs and furious blows. Building their power as they attack, the Shade unleashes swift, unrelenting strings of savage strikes against their unwary opponents, each assault more powerful than the last and all serving to fuel the vampiric Shade's bloodlust.
The Soldier
The Soldier fights from the front lines of combat with a high-tech arsenal of weaponry designed for destruction, ready to drop the hammer at a moment's notice. With access to powerful energy shields the Soldier excels at protecting their team mates and absorbing hostile fire in the heat of battle, ready and waiting to retaliate with devastating special weapon attacks and high-end explosives. When the chips are down and all else has failed? Call your local Soldier - It's time for some shock and awe.
The Trader
On the battlefield and off, the Trader is always looking for the ultimate deal, even if it means bartering with their very life. A master of getting more for less the Trader is the businessman redefined for a new era, with quick wit and even quicker reflexes backing up powerful and unique "drain" abilities designed to cripple the enemy and bolster the Trader themselves with their target's pilfered skill. Excelling at the manipulation of numbers and values the Trader can even offer their health as a bargaining chip, healing their team mates at the cost of their own vitality. It's a rough life, but for anyone with the skills to pay the bills? The Trader can definitely leave you with a fist full of credits. And a target full of lead.
