Community Update 26th May 2006

This is the Community Update for 26th May 2006, including: Lost Eden Q&A, Game Updates and Character Clean Up, and Funcom at Dragoncon.

A lot to get through today so lets start with the good stuff!

Lost Eden Q&A

As promised the Lost Eden site has been updated today with the first in a series of Q&A articles that start to explain a little bit more about the expansion.

You can find the feature here in the Lost Eden Section of the site! Included are six great new images as well, with three concept art pieces featuring some of the new weapons and three renders that give you a sneak peek at the insides of an alien mothership!

Whats more we thought it would be great to field some of your questions in future updates! If you would like to submit a question to the team to be featured in future updates drop us a line to community@anarchyonline.com with the email subject as Lost Eden Q&A Submission and you never know, you might find an answer to your question in the next update!

Game Updates and Character Clean up

On Tuesday there will be downtime on the live dimensions for the next update, keep an eye out on Monday for the details of the times. This update will make the new alien sector open to the public for their raiding pleasure!

Please remember that during the downtime we will also be performing a character wipe of old unused characters. Any character below level 5 that hasnt been logged in for 90 days will be deleted during downtime on that day.

If you wish to keep any characters below level 5 please ensure they have been logged in actively on the live servers before this date. PLEASE NOTE: Those who run chatbot characters will have to log the character into the actual game, having them connected to the chat servers will not avoid this wipe.

Funcom at Dragoncon

Finally we are delighted to confirm that we will be attending the Dragoncon convention in Atlanta in September and will again be having a player gathering for people to come and meet us and chat about the game and join in on some competitions and fun!

There will be members of the development team there to answer your questions and join in the fun!

If you are attending and want to reserve a place at one of our evening gatherings please send an email to community@anarchyonline with the subject line Dragoncon gathering with your name and details. Space will be limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Dragoncon is a great convention and a whole lot of fun and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Have a great weekend on Rubi-Ka!
